Trio of Happiness! :)

Was clearing photos from the ex2f camera when i found these photos! :)
A random lunch date with Melody some time back.

I often get asked how i got to know her, or why are we so close?
I got to know Mel through doing advertorials for TCL, and among work related stuffs, we had occasional small talks. Somewhere along the way, we found so so many similarities in each other and we even share the same birth date! How coincidental is that seriously? It can get quite scary at times how identical our thoughts and tastes are, but this is also quite incredible.

So anyway, we decided to meet up and just at the first meet up, we talked for hours at a cafe. The boyf came to pick me up then and he was also amazed at how much we can talk despite it being the first meeting. I can talk about anything and everything with this her without holding back my deepest thoughts; this i call an affinity. She's a god sent gem and her friendship is a gift. <3

In you, i found a friend. Will never trade you and this bond for anything else in the world.
Love you hatch day sista! <3

Salon Vim
Visited my hair sponsor after i returned from Europe to touch up my hair.
The turquoise had faded into a green i didn't quite like, so i requested Fiona my stylist to have all highlights in purple! :)

I was in a rush that day and didn't have time to cover the greens, before applying the new colors, but it still turned out gorgeous! I've been with salon vim for 9 months now and Fiona never fails to deliver! :)

I hardly post selfies on the blog but here's a chain of them, hahaa.
Pardon this as i really wanna share the colors of my hair!
I also did the new Kerastase treatment which helps strengthen and moisturize the hair, best of both worlds and exactly what i needed! It's been almost a month since the treatment and my hair still feels soft and hydrated! :)

For those who're concerned on the bleaching procedure to obtain this colors, i've only bleached my hair twice in my 9 months with them. Once at my first visit to get the ash highlights, and second at my 2nd last trip where i got purple and turquoise highlights. Since the first bleach, i've been using the same bleached highlights for new colors, so it actually isn't that harmful on the hair! :)

The boyf also came along for his monthly hair cut!
Fiona gave him an extremely short cut since he hair grows out at an extremely fast rate! Is this the same for all guys i wonder?

Headed to Liang Seah Street for some errands and i finally tried Chong Qing Grilled Fish!
I have always seen how packed the restaurant in and have been wanting to try. Since it was lunch time, it wasn't as crowded as how it'd be at dinner, so we gave it a try! :)
For $30 you get a whole fish! You can opt for a larger one at $38.
You can choose the type of fish you prefer. There's the more common ones like sea bass and red snapper, as well as 1/2 others which i can't remember. Then you pick the flavor you want it cooked in; of each most were spicy base at different spice level. I think they are more popular for their spicy version, but i opted for the fermented black bean paste as i can't take too much spice. Lastly, you choose the sides you want in the fish! Sides are $3 i think and they had a huge variety. We chose the tofu! :)

It doesn't look much or photo worthy, but you are so wrong!
The fish was so fresh and tender i was taken aback honestly; wasn't expecting it. The sauce was also thick and came with a burst of flavors! I can only imagine how shiok the spicy one can be! Highly recommend a try if you haven't tried it yet!

Nail Art Box
I haven't shared this before, but one of my girlfriends, Ivy own a home based nail salon! She's been doing this for almost a year now and i recently got her to do my nails cos the retail salons can't do it.

Gorgeous gorgeous foil nail art!
I super love the rich and vibrant colors on a black base, and this design is definitely unique and something that's not easily seen! :)

Retail salons don't provide or can't do this as they do not have the nail foil needed to achieve this.
Gorgeous right? :p

See how outstanding they are? Heh.

I visited her just a few days back as the nails had grown out. I'm a sucker for nail art and can never stand bare nails, or unsightly nails, so i get my nails done every 3 weeks or so! :)
You can see how much i love the foil nail and Ivy included it in this new set as well! :p I don't think i'll get sick of foil nails anytime soon. In fact i've already planned the next design (which is also a foil one!) and waiting for the charms Ivy ordered for me to arrive!

If you're interested to get your nails done, do contact Ivy.

I'm actually intrigued that i'm blogging more frequently in HK than i am when in Singapore.
Hurhurr.
We're heading for Dim Sum breakfast and Disneyland thereafter, can't wait! I can smell my awesome Sunday already! Be back again soon! :)

Floral Parka x Kith Cafe

I'm always a fan when it comes to outer pieces, they are just very me! :)))
Laid my eyes on this piece.
A floral prints parka, a combination of two things i love!
Yes i'm a floral fan too!
My face was a little bloated that day, but other than that, i quite like my outfit! :)
Shorts are now my worn to death shorts, can't believe how versatile it is and goes well with almost all my tops!

I don't usually repeat my clothes but i've worn this more than 8 times since my last BKK trip!
And it's only 4 bucks, hurhurhur.
Awesome buy scored!

Outfit of the day
Upcoming Parka on TCL next week,
(It's just a normal outerwear, not suitable for the cold climate in case you're wondering. :))
Black Spag Top Cotton On,
Shorts from BKK
Bowler Cap from BKK

The boyfriend went to Salon Vim for a hair cut that day and Fiona gave him a stylish look.
Hahhaha, i cannot stress enough how he doesn't care about how he looks AT ALL. Are all guys like this? -.- He can not cut his hair for months though they are growing out all over the place if not for my consistent nagging.

Breakfast at Kith Cafe
This is me after a fruitful 10pm - 8am night of sleep.
My usual bed time is 3-4am or 5am, but i kinda just fell asleep that day at 10pm and i was amazed how my body woke up on its own at 8am! I must say, that night of sleep was one of the best i had in a long time. I felt so refreshed, recharged and so energetic! :p

We'd wanted to have breakfast at L'etoile Cafe but it was closed that Monday.
This hasn't happened the first time. I somewhat have the capability to face such circumstance all the time; heading to closed cafes. -.-
ANYWAY i honestly think that was a sign.
Cos i headed back to L'etoile the next day and food was horrible beyond words.
I don't even know if i should blog about how horrible the food and experience was.

MOVING ON.
Texted Melody, now my walking food directory (super awesome that i get instant replies! HAHA) and she suggested Kith Cafe at Park Mall so off we went!
Images credit to google

The boyfriend's.
The colors of red, green and yellow just made everything look good!
You have a choice to pick your bread type and the way you want your eggs done! :)

Mine didn't look appetizing and appealing but it was good too!
The mistake I made was to have my eggs poached.
It tasted weird and kinda blend without the usual hollandaise sauce. :(

The bacon, grilled tomato and sautéed mushrooms made up for the eggs though!
They were SO GOOD!

Food Updates!

Canopy Garden Dining
The boyfriend and I made a trip down to Canopy one weekday (finally!)
Have been meaning to go back since the last visit but never had the time, so i was really quite happy to be back! :p

We sat beside a table of mummies and babies, and it was quite an interesting eavesdropping session for us. The fact that they were talking quite loudly made it impossible for us not to eavesdrop! They were complaining about their in-laws, maids, jobs and everything under the sun literally. One of them was still unmarried, and erps she was telling the other ladies to watch out for their figures cos they seemed to be growing sideways now, hahaha.

The boyfriend ordered Eggs Royale, which was also what we had the other trip.
Seems like the portion has shrunk in size, but other than that, it tasted just as nice!

I was contemplating their breakfast/ brunch menu or their pasta.
I caved in to their Crabmeat Aglio Olio and it was a wrong choice.
There was no garlic fragrant at all and their crabmeat was mushy like baby food. :(
Conclusion is to just stick to their breakfast menu!

We also ordered their pancakes which was so fluuffffy!
Super love pancakes with maple syrup!

It was a quick meal as we were supposed to head back to the office!
If you're someone who's never able to wake up early enough for brunch, Canopy is the place for you! :p

Plans changed after lunch and we headed to the Reebonz sale instead of the office,
thanks to the wonders of social media!
And so, I'd the luxury of declaring an off day! :p

Spent a good 2-3 hours at the sale before we headed to town for dinner.
Walked around PS including the new and revamped area but there was nothing much i was craving for.
So we made a trip down to one our of favorite Pizzerias! :)

Peperoni Pizzeria
It's located just opposite Great World City so it's a short drive down from town! :)

Some places do not allow mixing but they do! :)
The fire wood pizzas here are really damn good!
We ordered our usual; Seafood x Prosciutto with Rocket Salad.

The pizza is 12" and it's quite huge!
They have the XXL pizza which is 21"!

We also had their seafood risotto, one of the best i have eaten in SG!
Mega love the rich flavor and how the grains are cooked to perfection!

Their portion can be quite huge so we don't usually order much here.
I remember the first time here, we ordered a soup, salad and a large pizza and we had to stuff ourselves silly!

 Manna Story
Finally got to try this after hearing all the raves!
It's funny how we've been to Jcube umpteen times yet never taken notice of it.
And it's on the same floor as Miyoc!
They have a couple of branches if i'm not wrong.
We had ours at JCube that day since we had to drop by Miyoc.

The boyfriend and his new bicycles tee Bert got for him!
The prints are super adorable rightttt!

We ordered the Cinnamon Tea and it was mega yuck.
Even a cinnamon lover like me do not know how to appreciate this, so don't ever order this. :x

The FREE FLOW side dishes!
Don't we all love this! :D

The boyfriend usually waits for me to be done snapping photos, but i guess he couldn't resist them. Hahaha managed to capture this shot!
The kimchi was damn good btw!

First time trying out rice cakes after seeing them on TV for donkey years.

Hot-Stone Bibimbap.
I like that we had to add and mix the sauce ourselves, kinda helps determine the level of spice/flavor you want! :)

My favorite has got to be this!
KIMCHI PANCAKE!
It was SOOOO crispyyyy!

Bad hair day, but who cares!
Cos the food made us happy that night. :p

Went bright with colors that day!
This "overused" bag will be launched real soon! :)

One of my favorite rompers till date, which unfortunately cannot be restocked via backorders. The fabric is sold out and not available! :( We're considering remaking it into similar floral printed fabric,
let us know if you girls are opened to the idea kay? :)
You can drop me an email or just Formspring me!

Ending this post with our Cold Shoulder Top (and a few sneaks below!), launching tomorrow night! :)
If you remember this, my original was in grey from Topshop and we'd sent it in for manufacturing!
The original's cotton was a little thin and the cut out edges were raw, plus it was really huge for a Uk 6.
So we changed them into a thicker cotton jersey fabric, sew up the edges and changed the measurements for better fit! :)
Our version is available in Berry, Heather Grey, Cobalt and Black!

Will also be launching this ombre chiffon top! :)
The previous ones we sold was a tank version and sheer, so we added lining and made it more work appropriate with slight pleats down the front!

We have a couple more manufactured pieces tomorrow too, and the best news is;
Since they are basic pieces, we'll be pricing them at FAB FIND PRICES! :)
More savings for your pockets so rejoice!

Till then, we'll see you tomorrow!
